The Episcopal Church is unique in that its Sunday worship is supported by so many lay people. Lectors read the first lesson and lead the congregation in the praying of the psalm. Worship Leaders read the second lesson and help administer Holy Communion by serving the cup. Acolytes serve by leading the processions of the people and clergy. They carry the processional cross and processional candles at significant parts of the service, as well as assisting at the Altar before communion. Please contact Fr. Stanford at if you would like to be a part of these vital ministries.
