St. Christopher School - Teaching our Future
Registration for the 2009-20010 school year is now open. In order to secure a place
for your child, please return a completed Registration Form and registration fee as
soon as possible. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact the

School Mission: To provide a Children education which encourages social, physical,
emotional, intellectual and spiritual development for all children regardless of race, creed,
color, or religion.
Program: St. Christopher School is a non-profit Episcopal Day School serving children 2-4
years old since 1960.
St. Christopher School is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective
Services and is a member of Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools, National
Association of Episcopal Schools, and Texas Licensed Child Care Association.
Our dedicated, experienced instructors attend continuing education workshops throughout
the year, exceeding state licensing requirements. St. Christopher School maintains a family
atmosphere facilitated by a low teacher/student ratio. Our goal is to provide the BEST
possible preschool education in a safe, secure and nurturing environment.
Curriculum: St. Christopher School provides a curriculum which focuses phonics, math,
science, language, art, and development of both fine motor and large motor skills.
The two-year-old class focuses on developing social skills. Pre-reading and pre-writing skills
are also introduced.
The three-year-old class continues developing social skills with more emphasis on pre-
reading, pre-math, and pre-writing skills.
The curriculum for the four-year-old classes include the Alpha Tales Phonics series by
Scholastic, and the Scholastic Math Curriculum and the Newbridge Science Program,
Scholastic curriculum and a new Scholastic Math curriculum.
Chapel: Basic tenets of the Christian faith are incorporated in a daily Chapel Service and
presented through Bible stories, songs and prayer.
School Calendar: The school year is divided into two semesters. The first semester begins
in August and ends in December. The second semester begins in January and ends in May.
St. Christopher School CLOSELY follows the Fort Worth ISD traditional school year
calendar WITH some exceptions. School closings or delayed openings due to inclement
weather, local or national emergencies are usually the same as public schools. This
information is regularly available on local television and radio.
Class Schedule: St. Christopher School offers three class schedules; a daily class, a
Momday/ Wednesday/Friday class, and a Tuesday/Thursday class. Extended care is
available for children enrolled in the school.
Preschool Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Extended Care Hours: 7:15 a.m. – 8:20 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition:
Tuition may be paid annually, per semester, or monthly (5 payments each semester).
Discounts are available for St. Christopher Church members (5%), a second child enrolled
(10%), or prepayment of annual tuition (5%). Only one discount per family is applied.

The registration fee is non-refundable and is submitted with the registration form.
Extended Care:
AM Care is offered daily from 7:15 am until 8:20 am for $3.75 per hour. If your child
arrives prior to 8:15 am, you will be assessed this fee.
Stay and Play is offered daily from 12:45 pm to 6:00 pm at a cost of $3.75 per hour or
$75.00 per week, if your child stays at least 4 hours each day, five days per week.
