| What's Happening at St. Christopher? |
Walk with Jesus to the Cross and Beyond: We at St. Christopher
Episcopal Church and St. Simon of Cyrene Episcopal Church invite you to
join us for solemn Lenten and Holy Week observances of Jesus’ last days
on earth, followed by our joyous Easter celebration of His glorious
Resurrection.
We walk the Way of the Cross on the Fridays of Lent at 6:00 pm. The
fourteen stations of the cross help us reflect on His sufferings as we reenact
the traditional events of His walk to the cross. We continue our walk into
Holy Week which features daily worship services:
- Palm Sunday – March 28, 8:00 am and 10:30 am
- Holy Eucharist (Chapel) – March 29 and 30, 7:00 pm
- Tenebrae – March 31, 7:00 pm
- Maunday Thursday – April 1, 7:00 pm
- Good Friday - April 2, 12:00 Noon and 7:00 pm
- Way of the Cross – April 2, 3:00 pm
- Easter Vigil – April 3, 8:00 pm
- Easter Day – April 4, 8:00 am and 10:30 am
Help Haitians Devastated by the Earthquake
Following a catastrophic earthquake that struck Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince, on
January 12. Episcopal Relief & Development is reaching out to the Diocese of Haiti to
both address immediate needs and prepare for long-term rehabilitation work, More.....
